This drive is well made and I like the metal casing. The connections are tight and fits well in the hand. To make my iPad recognize the drive I had to format it and give it a name. It didn't come out if the box ready for IOS but this in normal in my experience. Format is exFAT with a name and it was good to go. I'd buy again. Good value for the money with a good fit and finish.

Bought this just to run Windows 10 Pro on my 2020 MacBook Pro as 256GB isn't much for anything. I will say that I was extremely skeptical on this product. It runs the whole OS with no issues and is even fast enough for some Steam games! I will honestly say that I am highly impressed. The biggest drawback so far is the USB-C to USB-A adapter does not work all that well and I was kind of disappointed that it didn't come with a USB-C to USB-C cable as well, but all-in-all, this external drive way exceeded my expectations.

This is a well designed portable drive, that does the job it is supposed to. The first thing I noticed when it was delivered, was how compact it is. I have other portable hard drives that are bigger, which makes this one easy to take when needed, and storing for when I do not need it. When I attached it to my computer, there were no issues with it being recognized, and transferring files went very well. It showed as a storage capacity of 232 Gb, which is somewhere close to where I expected, and most hard drives never show full capacity. At 232 Gb there is still plenty of room for storing files and pictures, so I am content with that.

This SSD is tiny, Like 8 keys on on my keyboard tiny. And when I saw the specs, I didn't think it could really live up to that speed. But in a quick benchmark over a thunderbolt port - it absolutely does (see attached screenshot). I'm impressed. Now a benchmark is just a benchmark but it's a great starting place. In using this drive, it's felt fast. If I forget and plug it into a slower port, I can immediately tell. The performance is halved.
