I will also be using this tool when I direct sow my radishes into my garden beds because I prefer to make holes with perfect spacing instead of using a trench method. The overall measurement from end to end is 11 1/4 inches and the metal cone part is 5 inches long. This is one of those tools that you didn't know you needed until you actually use one.
