The lamp gets hot when it is turned on, and the legs are tripod style so they can be moved/bent but they work well if you can find the right placement where the light doesn't wobble. If the light is not in an ideal spot, it could be a fire hazard (it could fall from its location and the hot bulb could burn what it comes into contact with if left there for longer than a few minutes.)
If you set it up in a good spot and it is well balanced on all three legs, then the lamp is amazing! There are tons of different settings (colors and brightness levels) and it gives any room a very artistic/movie-like feeling. Especially for the price, I would definitely recommend this to anyone. It will be a great lamp for photo shoots!
