   I have a kobalt that does not sell this part anymore and there is nothing that fits it perfectly. I ordered a similar product last time it broke and adapted it to work with the koblat. I was wondering if this one would work too. I tried it out and the insert does not screw on the shaft. I was able to push it out and use the parts I had to adapt this one to fit. Remember any kobalt owners out there, to keep your old square nut and parts and you'll be able to adapt to fit these types of heads.

   Disappointed in general with this offering. The full length of the trimmer string (coiled) was extremely short in comparison to the original head that came with the trimmer. How this compares with other brands, I don't know but I think it relates back to the price I paid. I guess in this case you get what you pay for. I wish the length would be more transparent in the description. Also the head itself, only lasted a few attempts, ended up throwing it away. Yet I had not used the majority of the string itself.
