   I purchased this after rodents invaded the engine compartment of our vehicle. We have had no rodent problems since installing the device in the garden next to our driveway. The instructions and minor assembly were very easy. It has settings for different-sized varmints and I chose the frequency to repel mice and rats. The device has a soft blue light that flashes, which provides a visual confirmation the unit is working. It also emits a barely audible noise to repel rodents. Our dog went up to sniff and check out the device so it was good that she wasn't annoyed and the sound targets the intended creature. I'm ordering another for the backyard just to be on the safe side. An ounce of prevention is much better than the pound of damage mice did to my engine wiring!

   I previously bought a smaller version of this and was so impressed with how well it worked that I had to buy this bigger version. It detects motion up to 30 feet which is perfect for my backyard. I've had so many problems with stray cats coming over to my front and back yard to defecate. With these pest repellers they've finally stayed off my yard—no more poop everywhere. The repeller emits a faint beeping sound which an optional flashing light. I like to keep the light off as I feel it depletes the battery faster. I love how these repellers give you the option to charge via USB cable for overcast days when not enough sunlight charges it. I'm thinking of getting another one because now they're making their way to my front porch—only to sleep though; at least they're not pooping on it.

   I am absolutely happy with this product. For the last seven months, not one day went by where I couldn't smell cat urine on my car cover, see cat hair, claw scratches on my other cars paint or mud since it's been raining lately. I've tried many things to keep the cats away and nothing has worked. My vehicles are under a carport and cats seem to find this appealing. So I took the repeller, put in a fresh set of batteries (no sun where I placed them) and used a couple of screws to hang it on one of the carport columns. I placed slightly above the height of my SUV's hood and since I did this seven days ago, I have seen no cats whatsoever, nor have I smelled urine, no scratches or mud (still raining). This product absolutely worked for me.
