How to use :

Step 1: Switch moisture/pH/light position
Step 2: Stick the probe into the soil about 2-4 inches
Step 3: Adjust the position of the probe until the pointer on the dial swing slightly
Step 4: After 10 minutes, Note moisture/pH/light level in the dial
Step 5: Remove probe from soil and wipe clean after each use

Nice little meter. I don't use the light meter part, but moisture meter is accurate enough to let me know when plants need water, without me having to pick up the pots and guess if they do or not. Ph meter gives me a rough range of where the soil ph is at, and I've tested it against the soil test kit I have. It gives me a piece of mind without having to pull samples for testing. Great investment, would recommend.
