I saw a picture of one of these and thought I'd try one. I got a small and my rats love it. I'm getting another one in medium for my boys. One of my rats basically claimed it but they all love it. I also like that it swings back and forth but they just lay in it with their little faces sticking out and fall asleep. I haven't washed it or anything. They did chew an escape route through the back within 2 days, but they do that to anything not made of metal, so I expect to throw all their stuff in the garbage eventually. Only cost about $12 though, and it'll last a while. I noticed they don't poop in it, at least they haven't in a couple weeks.

These are great. Just the right size. I just washed them, putting them through the washer and dryer. The pads got a little misshapened but seem to have flattened back down with them laying on it. Hooking them on the chains to hang them back up was kind of inconvenient but other than that not a problem. The picture looks like they are sitting on the floor but they are actually a couple of inches about it. You can adjust how high or low you would like them to hang. I've ordered some in the past that I've had to send back for being too small. These are just right size for guinea pigs. They love them.
