The cord is long enough to reach the front and back seats (since u have to plug this into glove department). So far so good.

I used to have to smaller cord as equipped from the factory but switched it out for this cord a few months ago. It has been great the sound quality is great and I never have a problem with it being to short. It can reach to the backseat. The only issue is that I have to use a dongle for the aux jack end and convert it to lightning for iPhone.
