I bought one (or a similar one) years ago for my oldest, and it not only continued to be a favorite toy of his and his subsequent siblings, but it lasted through years of hard play by toddlers. I was thrilled to find this toy unchanged and still available and bought it for grandkids. I was happy to discover that the quality and size seemed the same. Grandkids are now happily playing with it and fighting over it.

The only thing is the latch on the opening (to remove the blocks) can catch finders of it flops open, but dont really know how to work around that.    This is a very educational toy and I believe all kids should have one these toys. I had a blue and yellow ball with all the shapes but I couldn't find the same or one similar to the one I had as a child. This toy is the same except that it's a cube and not a round shape. I like the different colored shapes and this will teach my son shapes, colors and improve his motor skills. I will definitely recommend this toy.

I also stack the pieces for her to knock down. I'm happy with the purchase. The pieces are sturdy and she puts her weight on the release door, it folds in but pops out easily.
