Takes a bit to get the hang of using them, but great product, they dig in so no slipping. Biggest obstacle was me.

These were the most affordable pair of gaffs I could find, and man are they comfortable. They work great in the giant pines trees I have to cut. I am no professional, however with these I feel safe and confident while climbing in them. They have adjustments form 5'4" to about a 6'4" tall person. If I could give them more stars I would!

It has been about 3 months, and I have cut several trees now. Even cutting on the side for a little extra cash. They have paid for themselves over and over. In addition I got the notch rope, and it's doing great as well! Notch is going to be my go to brand for tree gear

I was recommended this item by a friend. Going to be cutting down about 13 or so Trees on my property. The only reason I give this a 4 star and not a 5 star is due to missing screws that usually come with this product. They are solid and durable, (having used my friends pair when he was recommending these to me, and he has had them for 3 years now?), and they grip the trees with ease. Again I would recommend these to anyone, only reason I don't give it the 5 star is due to missing items, will update rating once I get a hold of customer support.

These climbers are comfortable to wear for lengthy periods of time, if necessary. I've had this setup for about 4 months now, and after getting used to how they fit and how wear them correctly (they seemed to try and twist off the heel of my boot) they're pretty dang comfortable. I got a new pair of boots that didn't have the heels worn off, that helped a lot too. *Pro tip.... Wrap the lower strap around the shank once to hold in position if needed.

They could use more padding in the leather shin area. Very sharp and sturdy. When climbing trees these are worn with hard sole work shoes. The spikes are so sharp I use a two inch piece of tubing to cover them for safety. I expect to get many years out of them in my tree business.

Takes some getting use to... if you never used this kind of equipment before .... make sure you tie them the right ways around you calves and feet! Once you get the hang of it they are great... just don’t give up after your first try!! Product is solid and will give you the confidence once you are 30 ft in the air focusing on cutting your palm leaves
