This was an awesome gift for my 8 yo boy! We filled the claw with some toys and candies and he has been enjoyed so much. It caught small and spiky stuff well like a small sea animal toys but not a little bigger size like KitKat. Still great as he also can experience some failures and challenges to try next time better.
One thing I noticed is the music volume is not controllable so we had to attach some thick papers on the speaker to reduce the sound. Hope it can be improved with a volume controller.

Mine came with a volume control but for extra measure because I am sound sensitive, I put tape over the speaker to lower the sound. Works perfectly, only the motor that moves the claw around is sort of loud when it moves, it's not too big of a problem. I am very excited to have this for my game room.
