I LOVE that they leave no trace of where I have camped overnight, and love the light weight, and extra space in my backpack from not having to bring a tent/groundcover with me! I do bring a sleeping pad if I am going to the Sierras-- I would recommend using a sleeping pad for weather that will drop below 50 degrees. If it is hot out, there is no better way to stay cool than sleeping in the hammock.

I left it outside in the sun all the time and it gave way after about 4 or 5 years. Comfortable and no doubt that if you keep them out of the sun they'll last forever! Find you a good set of whoopie strings to go with them and you're more than halfway to camping.
