   I live with my sister and brother-in law and they don't have locks on their doors. Now, me being a college student would like to sleep in past 9am however, the satanic rituals of newborns and toddlers are quick to notice a peacefully sleeping citizen like myself and try their hardest to disrupt that. Henceforth, I acquired the DoorJammer which makes it quite impossible other than the occasional "thud. *Fall to floor... Cry then run away*" to disturb me. It doesn't even bother me anymore cause the sweet sound of failure to break into my room gives me the peace of mind to fall back asleep and wake up when I want to.

Very suburban waterfront community where car break-ins and burglaries are, but there have been a few push-in burglaries over the years despite the fact that our state is a open carry, mandatory shall issue state for those want a concealed permit, and where most of the homes on my block have firearms. Having said this, I can't imagine why anyone would go into someone's home in Va and risk getting shot. Having said this, I purchased this device for my front door to give me a little extra time to retrieve a sidearm.

Red color makes it easy to find but it’s so small no one usually even notices it sitting by your door. This isn’t going to be as secure as a nightlock, but in a rental you can’t exactly drill holes into the floor. Tested it, and honestly yes someone COULD get in...if they could put enough force to break the hinges off the door and completely destroy the frame. Definitey worth it to give you the moments needed to react, arm yourself, and call the cops / or get out if that’s what you prefer,
