Been getting complements on them and super comfy!. PLUS - If you have a lot of hair to get through the hole expands and is very stretchy and I have to used like gigantic hairties so trust me, you can get your thick hair through these easily, I do my hair in a bun and slip it over. I'm never going back to regular beanies again! Got 3 colors and so worth it.

   So awesome for when I don't feel like taking my messy bun or ponytail off when I got outside. The knit weight is great for about 1*C to about -2*C, haven't tried it any colder than that outside. But I imagine the wind could blow right through. Still better than not wearing a hat in the winter. I used to do this with a self-tightening neck warmer that has a toggle on one end. But love that there are hats specifically designed for high ponytails now and the knit is more stylish than my fleece neckwarmer.

   This is a great hat. I've gotten so many compliments on it. It looks great with a high ponytail, low ponytail (move the hat opening above the neck) or with long hair. It's great for keeping your ears warm when worn normally. It looks best when you pull hair down over both ears showing side wisps. I bought 3 different colors and they all look great (navy blue, maroon and purple). This hat can stretch and become bigger. Wash and dry it as instructed and it will go back to its original size. It can also collect lint in the laundry so wash it alone.

The knit is soft and seems to be of great quality. The higher the messy bun the better in my opinion. Love loved love! Minus one star for not having a lining to keep you warm in wind. I live in Minnesota and the hat does well when I'm out and about but wouldn't be warm enough to go out in the great out doors (skiing, sledding, etc). This hat is stylish but not warm enough for the super cold days.

   I have thick long hair and have been struggling for years to find a winter hat that I don't have to pull on non stop to keep it in place. I got this hat for Christmas and seriously it is one of the BEST Christmas presents EVER! No tugging and pulling, it stays where it is supposed to be and the hair is not getting in the way! U only have had it for a short time and hope that the elastic in the "hair hole" will stay the way it is but I truly love it and can only recommend it!

   This review is a little late, but honestly a better review because I've had the chance to use them for an entire fall/winter season. I worked at a very busy gas station this past cold season and I wore these every single day. I absolutely LOVE these beanies. I have four of them. My hair is about shoulder length and very thick, and it was so nice to be able to keep my head warm while having my hair in a ponytail. I was continually getting comments from customers who I directed to this site. The absolute ultimate best thing about these hats besides the fact that they are warm and stylish is I washed them multiple times and they always come out of the wash tightened back up to their original elasticity. I have had stocking caps/beanies that go limp after continued use, but these don't do that. Also, they offer so many colors -- you can match them with just about anything in your wardrobe. Love, love, love them.

   This is exactly what I was looking for. I have a lot of hair and after playing hockey, it is a sweaty mess. I hate going outside in the cold totally exposed post-game. This helps keep my head warm and my hair contained in a bun. I had another one that was hand made and it barely covered my ears. It was also difficult to get my hair through the top This one is not too small (a bit slouchy on me) at all and has quite a bit of stretch depending on how you like to wear it. Also, the top is a soft elastic so you shouldn't have trouble getting a pony or a bun through. I'll probably order a few more colors next winter!
