   I'm generally not a review writer, but I had to let others who might be in same situation how this product works for us. We were being bombarded with 10 - 20 sales or scam calls a day regardless of our being on the do not call list. After installing our calls dwindled down to less than 5 per days. Then after we have manually blocked the few getting through, the calls are now down to 1 to 2 per day. Now its just fun manually blocking them. After a few weeks of use, I highly recommend this call blocker. It's easy to hook up, easy to use, so far its been worth the money.

   I was getting quite a few spam calls on my landline so I signed up for nomorobo. My spam calls increased to 20-30 a day. It got to the point where I unplugged my landline just to have a break from my phone ringing. It's been a life saver and I only get 1-2 calls a day. At first I thought there was a problem with my landline since it wasn't ringing, but the call blocker was actually doing it's job. The only complaint I have is I'd like to see a way where legit phone numbers can be inputted without waiting for them to call.

   It was super easy to install, just plug it into your phone line, and then plug the phone into the callet id box. I mostly ordered it for the talking caller id, which is a shamelessly difficult feature to find anywhere. I bought it for my father in law who is mostly blind and has trouble checking caller id. He would usually just answer the phone, and the more you answer the spams and scams, the more they call. This box had most of them blocked already. He went from a dozen calls a day to 1 or 2, and the big red block button takes care of those. Plus with how excited and giddy he gets when he gets to block another number, its paid for itself in my opinion.

You can put the unwanted call on the 'block list' while ringing, or go to the caller list and put in on the block list from there. Instructions are very basic, and you do have the ability of un-blocking a call. I recommend this to anyone that is being bombarded with spam calls on their home telephone line.

   We were getting about a dozen unwanted calls a day. We have has this for about two weeks and blocked 13 calls. The unwanted calls have stopped but a couple of things If you use your answering service any blocked calls that try to call you again will ring once. This maybe happens once every few days. If you want to stop the one ring you have to stop using your answering machine. This happens with any call blocker. Another thing to watch out for is to block a number that you do not want blocked. We avoid this by always letting our voice machine work and if no one leaves a message we block it by hitting the red button. Peace and quiet these days is so nice!

   It took us a little while to realize how we should work this. What happens is that after you hook it up to your landline and you get a call that you want to block, then you need to immediately run to this thing and push the button, then that call will be blocked from you forever. It has let us take naps in the afternoon without all of the robocalls. My wife loves it, but we did not figure it out at first.

   It was fairly easy to set up. I love how it let's me see who's calling and if I don't recognize them I can immediately block that call. The instructions said it can store up to 200 numbers. With the number of spam robocalls I get, that is insufficient. I think the storage for blocked numbers needs to be larger.

   It's very easy to set up and comes with everything needed to install it. It worked great right out of the box. The display is large and clear and the backlight is nice at night. I like the red light that comes on for blocked callers and green for known callers. The audio is a plus so that you can pick up the calls you want. Adding blocked numbers is easy, just hit the big red button when they call. The only downside is another power box hanging from my wall plug but it is a small price to pay for not having to pick up the annoying sales and political calls.
