He has trouble lifting himself off the ground, walking long distances, and without this harness, would be entirely unable to get into the car. I tell him he's a "suitcase" when he wears this, as it becomes so much easier to help him climb in by lifting the front and back handles.

   He still loves to go out. On the way back in the 6 porch steps sometimes are too much for him. When he is hesitant or having trouble I can grip the handle of the front 1/2 of the harness. With a small tug he joins in and we go right up. I get to keep my old pal for a little longer.

   This harness is a lifesaver. My blind, 16 yo 80 lb boy can barely walk anymore. Between that and some neurological issues that make him suddenly turn one way or the other, it was becoming more and more difficult to assist him. This harness is great as it has a front section and rear section. He definitely feels more confident with it on. I leave the front section on all day and the rear section on when I'm home with him. I take all off at night. It is so helpful for walking, guiding, up& down steps and over bumps. It's especially great when he goes potty as I can help support him w/o interfering in his business.
