   My dogs love to be outside and play but needed a way for them to get fresh water on demand. They kept eating water hoses and sprinklers because they knew that's where water came out of and so I knew then they could figure this out. They learned how to use it in less than 5 minutes. Easy enough for a puppy, to a yorkie, and of course my medium and large dog to use. It's been a few weeks now and it's still in one piece so it's a winner especially in this Texas heat

It's sturdy, well made, high quality components and pretty good quality hose and attachments as well. Only one catch...after numerous tries, my goofy hounds just wouldn't go near it. He scratches it like heck even when the hose is turned off which you would think the paint or logo would have chipped off but no, still looking brand new without any scratches although the yellow pain did fair due to sun bleach exposure.    This fountain is very sturdy and works great. I love the fact that I can adjust the amount of water coming out. But so far I need to be there with the dog and show her how to put her foot on it to press. Then she drinks like crazy. Hopefully soon she will realize she can do this herself and I don't need to show her at least once an hour. Like the big surface area for the dog to press. Like the white hose so even though it's in the shade it had less of a chance of getting too hot in a white hose. The length is perfect to come off a faucet on the side of the house. Seems sturdy but we haven't had it very long.

   This dog faucet is an awesome idea and I wish I'd thought of it first. It comes with metal fittings on both ends of the hose, which is about 36 inches long. It also comes with a Y splitter (so you can also run a traditional hose off the same faucet) and another fitting, which may be a quick-connect (both are made of hard plastic). It was super easy to set-up and I was done in about four minutes. Now, if I could just get my Husky to use it like the ones on Instagram, which how I found this product. He's terrified of it. Perhaps he only likes water he's NOT supposed to get into (muddy, toilet, bottled). ; )
