   OMG I love this Hammock. I camp a few times a year, and I am just too old to lay on the ground. Hammock camping has changed my life. I always regretted having to get in and out of the tent, because my knees hurt crawling and crouching around. Oh, did I mention that I am 6'6" nand 450lbs? Yeah, this is the better way to go if you are a big guy (or lady). I would definitely invest in a rain diverting mechanism for the ropes, but otherwise this hammock is comfortable and well constructed.

   This hammock is very comfortable. It does not have wooden bars at each end, so when you lay in it the hammock sides rise up and you're as snug in there. There is no tendency to - or even feel that it might - dump you off the hammock; it wraps right around you. It is called "matrimonial" size for good reason. It will fit two people, but you better be very comfortable with each other because it will push the two of you right against each other. My wife and I have napped in the hammock with her head on my chest. Because the lines that make up this hammock are so many and so fine, there's no feel of a rope digging into you anywhere.

   Bought this to replace my mattress. So far so good. On average getting better sleep than before. One personal benefit I received was that it aided in my shoulder recovery. I had been going to physical therapy, and started using this at the same time and it seemed to help get to a lesser pain state quicker, although I have no medical evidence and of course this will vary person to person , but I believe that the support it gave on my shoulder, the fact you don't roll around as much if at all, and the trigger points on my back were relieved all aided in my recovery.

   One of my favorite things about it is the way you can use the support of the individual strings to your advantage; if you set your arm out to the side and shift your weight, the hammock actually creates arm/head rests, so you are never at an uncomfortable angle or left with too much/too little support. The strings are so close together that there are no gaps unless you intentionally make them; I imagine you could like on it naked and not have a pattern on your skin (have not tried this though).

I bought kammock python straps and a couple of carabiners, and I keep those and the hammock in my office in a little duffel backpack (it folds up about the size of a rain jacket and doesn't get tangled). I am a PhD student and often have to do a lot of reading, so I'll load the articles on my kindle and take my hammock down to this convenient spot on campus, where I can throw it up in moments and be reading in the breeze in absolute comfort. Other students always come by to tell me they are jealous of it and ask what kind it is (most people have those dark-colored fabric hammocks, which look stuffy to me, especially when contrasted with this one).

   Even on a hot day, I can lay in it under the shade trees and be comfortable. The way it is woven allows for air flow from underneath without leaving those rope marks on your back and legs. I hung it at just the right height that I can throw a leg over and give a good kick on the ground to get it swinging more. My year old granddaughter loves it and I can really swing her in it without it trying to tip like those hammocks with wood bars. I have even stayed in it after dark and had to sort of roll up in it to keep the mosquitos off of me.
