I am using my 3rd one. I've encountered all of the issues that are in the reviews, the AWESOME, call them!! They will send replacement parts for any issue. I've been using these since they first came out, about 8 or so years ago. I live in Phoenix, they withstand the heat and sun miraculously. After a couple years I replace it only because the sun dries them so much that the cleaning gets to be a chore. I'll never use anything else, my dogs love it!

Dog loves drinking out of the fountain, but I had to place it up on blocks so he would stop splash the water out. Our dog figured out how to remove the lid the covers up the filter and he chewed it up. Fortunately, the manufacturing sent us a new lid free of charge and since I elevated the bowel 14" he no longer splashes nor can he remove the lid. The other issue is our puppy chewed up the the water hose supply line twice so I used copper tubing; no more issues. Awesome product, I highly recommend it!

I hooked this up to the sink in the back room for the house for our cats, they drink a lot of water and this keeps it full all the time. I'd do the same for the dog mud room if there was a pipe back there. So far no leaks. I had to get a sink faucet to hose pipe adapter though so just know if you plan on hooking it up to a sink you'll need one of those. Medium noise level, easy to clean, cats seem happy. No complaints.
