They BOTH live up to leather standards of a purse backpack and I really love the fact that the zipper is on the inside for anti-theft. Super awesome purses!

   I have been coveting a leather backpack for some time now. I have seen many that I liked, but the price has been prohibitive. When I saw this one, I read the reviews and took a chance. I am glad I did. The leather is lovely, flexible yet sturdy. There had been some reviews that mentioned the "security" strap that was not leather; this was not a deal-breaker for me. I am not using the top handle at all, so I put it away. I decided to add an organizing insert-- may or may not keep that in the bag ( see photo). I am very pleased with this purchase, and highly recommend.

The zippered opening is inside facing one's back which would prevent theft when worn utilizing the over the shoulder straps. It is reasonably priced. I recommend this backpack.
