   GREAT quality costume for the price just as most reviewers suggest. Some cape-fix advice: the velvet material is cut in a pointy way that made my shoulders look broader than they are. I fixed this with safety pins. Simply make the same "points" at the shoulders on the inside of the cape and pin it. You're basically disguising them by pushing the points in to get rid of them. The cape will then fall nicely in a flattering way.

I loved the velvet material, it"s good quality, I was surprised actually how nice for the price. And I loved that you could actually lace up and tighten the front, it wasn't fake. The skirt is very short, though. It barely covered my rear end and I'm 5"8", so I added a white petticoat and it looked great.

If you're smaller and much thinner with narrow hips then extra small is for you. Otherwise, order a size up! Nevertheless, the material was absolutely stunning, especially the red cape which is just as fabulous as everyone else who bought this said. I searched for other red riding hood costumes and this was my favorite one, the material feels nice too. all you need is a pair of white bow socks and some cute shoes to make it look even better.
