   It makes a perfect nightlight in somewhere like a bathroom. The glow is bright enough that you can see what you're doing without turning a light on, but not so bright that it'll be distracting from outside the room. The slow color change is cool, and I find that the look is appropriately 'adult' that you can use it even if you don't have little critters running around the house (whereas something like an Iron Man nightlight might raise some eyebrows).

   I've had these for a little while, now, and LOVE them. We're still getting set up in our new apartment, so we only have one up right now (in the bathroom) but may set our second one up in the living room or maybe our bedroom. These are very cute, and have a surprising amount of light output. I do wish the mushrooms and leaves weren't so much in a line, but you can bend them a bit to get around that.

   These are the cutest nightlights ever!!! Love them and they are pretty bright too. So if you like a very dim nightlight, I wouldn't suggest these in your room. Perhaps a hallway or bathroom. Plus the color changing can be distracting if you're trying to sleep. But I do love the fact that they color change, just not in my room....lol. 😁

I think the cool blue complements the overall color scheme of the shrooms.It's definitely a lot brighter than you would think.
