This is such a great little lamp. It comes with a USB charging cable and plug. It takes about four hours to fully charge the battery. Once the battery is fully charged, it can illuminate continuously for about 6 to 8 hours. The true intent though for this little lamp is to be an accessory Lamont to be used on an occasional basis. It is not really intended to be on for 4 to 6 hours every day. It is touch operated. By simply touching the top of the lamp you can choose three different color brightness schemes. When you touch it for the fourth time the lamp will turn off. I think this is such a cute little accessory lamp.
