   Since my hair is thin, I don't necessarily need to use all eight of the tentacles. Two of them are connected by velcro and can be easily detached if needed. It's nice to have the extra arms, as opposed to the two that most other similar devices have, as you can get smaller, tighter curls. It is comfortable to wear, and my next test will be to see whether or not I can sleep in it.

   I love this product, it gives perfect natural looking waves/curls and is SO easy to use. Would be completely possible to use this every night. The elastics at the bottom of each line make it easy to attach to your hair without needing to gather 8 hairbands that fit perfectly. It does leave some gaps on the top of your head so good to wear with a half up/down style, or with pins, or to supplement a pre-existing curl pattern. Very comfortable to sleep in. The velcro does not get in the way or tangled at all.

   I've tried probably a dozen different heatless hair curl hacks (socks, ties, bathroom robe sash, foam curlers, etc) and this one works, by far, the best. It takes me six or seven minutes to put in my hair and, voilà, nearly perfect curls the next morning. I wash my hair a few hours before bed, let it air dry for about 10/15 minutes, put in the octupus, and sleep for about 7/8 hours. Super easy. I do also use a silk hair cap, which keeps it all frizz free. It's great!

I told all my friends about it, the curls are still in my hair 2 days later. Im in love and will be purchasing for gifts now. This is going to cut down my getting ready by 2hours.
