   A complete lifesaver. My son had always hated when we shampooed his hair, making for drama every bath night. He even hated this thing, at first. But after a couple of uses, he started liking it! And now, when we wash his hair, he's always asking for more shampoo and more water!! I call that a success! My son is 26 months old.
   My only complaint is that I don't think I could keep the hat secure on his head by myself, and be able to wash/rinse his hair as well. So far it's always been two adults having to get the job done. I suppose when he's older he can adequately hold it in his own.

   I bought this when my daughter was a baby. She’s now 5 years old and we are still using this. She does NOT like water getting in her eyes or face so this has been an absolute lifesaver for us. The quality of the material is obviously very durable and great since it’s lasted so many years. It’s very easy to clean also.    My daughter LOVES water. She's constantly asking to wash her hands or play in her water table, but when it comes to bath time, that has been a struggle. We've tried everything from showers to watering cans for washing her hair but anytime water gets near her eyes or ears, it's instant panic.    I originally purchased this for my 2 year old son who was having a very tough time handling the hair washing but after using it on him, I thought about my 11 year old son who has HFA and his sensory issues with having anything done with his head. I used this product the next time he took a shower and the ease in which I was able to wash his hair blew me away! He didn't freak out. There was no melt down. He said he loved it!    This thing changed our lives! I was skeptical because my 2.5 year-old daughter absolutely HATED rinsing her hair in the bath (epic, DEFCON 1 tantrum-level hate), but this thing works like a charm. She went from being scared of it to just barely tolerating it to now accepting it after we used this for a couple of weeks. Her head is a little small for age (25th percentile or so), but this fits flush against her forehead and really does keep all the water out of her face. I don't even have to hold it against her head. I took the advice of some of the other reviewers and made sure to remove it from front to back when I was done to avoid any water that had collected in the lip from falling back into her face. No more tears!
