This has kept her at our house and in our yard. It's been magic. My 10 yr old set this up and it's basically plugging it in and putting the collar on our dog. Battery life on the collar is great.    Works great after only a few days of training. I only wish the beeps were louder when setting up the flags. My pet has been shocked only a very few times and learned his boundaries. After a month I took up the flags and have not had him go past since. The base gets really hot in high I have him set at 90 feet with a shock setting of 3. I put the base on low when he is in the house to cool off the base. I read where this is normal but you don't need on high when in the house and most the time we remove his collar also. He is about 25 lbs and the settings are perfect. Tip as you can see in a pic I posted his fur is very thick and he wasn't getting shocked so I shaved some area closer to the neck so I didn't have to tighten the collar as much for his comfort.

   Easy setup. And I was able to use one unit for both the front and back yards. I placed the unit in the walk-out basement pointing out to the backyard and positioned the unit where needed and adjusted the range. Follow the training proceedures and the dog will be trained in no time. We only had to move the setting up to 3 and the dog never wanted to fill that again...trained in very well after that. I love having him by me as I run around the house. He knows to stay within the flags and he will hear the peep and come right back if he gets too close to edges of the signal. The peep warning signal comes before any shock. Remember flag placement is key, so do that right and take your time. Walk slowly and keep the collar low in hand. Since the circle moves into the neighbors yard on the sides of the house I placed the flags near the property line and my dog keeps to our side of the flags. Enjoy!

We have a couple of small gaps in the perimeter due to an elevation change in our yard, and a refrigerator and stone in the middle of our kitchen, but our dog doesn't know. Great alternative to a fence and much cheaper than an underground fence.

   This product is simply great! No buried wires to deal with. Setup was easy. We tinkered with range and placement in the house for an hour until we found the boundary distance we liked. Our dog took to the training quickly and understood the boundary warning beeps within 3-4 days. The freedom this product allows my dog is awesome and the happiness that brings to us is worth the price. My insignificant criticism is that giant blue LED on the front of the base. The base sits in our master bedroom and that LED light is unbelievably bright. No need for a night light that is for sure.

   We bought this for our dogs while we stay at my parents farm. Our Husky is a hunter and we were concerned she would kill the chickens and turkeys on the farm. It was easy to hook up it works perfectly. Both of my dogs have only been zapped twice in three months we've had it. That was in the first week. They don't get anywhere near the boundaries now. It's strong enough that even our big dog doesn't mess with it. Really was a perfect solution for a difficult situation.
