Keeps my coffee hot all morning and turns itself off after 4 hours if not used. Easy to clean. I'm very happy I bought THIS ONE and not all the others I looked at.

   I bought this to put under the pot to keep it warm. The company I work for disabled the factory heat plate because of fire hazard reasons (which I think is silly, but can't change the policy). Fits nicely into the recessed area of the heat plate, turns off after 4 hours so no fire hazard. Keeps the coffee warm just fine.

   As others mentioned, for this to work well you are going to need your run of the mill typical flat bottomed mug. the taller it is the harder it will be for this to keep your whole cup warm. That being said, if you do use a regular drinking mug this does so well! Word of warning though, I recommend having it switched to the second hottest setting once you're at 75% done with coffee, otherwise that remaining amount can get pretty damn hot.

It has two warming temps, the main one keeping my coffee at the exact, right temperature for drinking. The auto-off function is a Godsend, as I tend to wander off and forget that last couple of sips. Both those two are defective.Both items blinked and would not stay on.There really is no way to contact the manufacturer about their nonexistent warranty so I'm left waiting for a portion of my refund then a call for help to be refunded the restocking fee.    I easy get busy or distracted while at work and forget to keep up with my coffee. By the time I remember it is already cold. So I saw this and decided to give it a try. It works perfectly for my needs, I keep it in the low temperature just so that it can keep it warm for me. I kept leaving my tea around or forgetting to drink it while working and always find my mug partially full with cold tea. I have an old mug warmer at work that works great, but I work from home most of the time so wanted a new one for the house.This warmer is very asthetically pleasing, and works well. I was a little annoyed by the writing on the surface as that wasn't included in the product photos, but it's not horrible. I removed the ugly caution sticker on it as it already has a warning on the surface.
