The children adored them, and having something to physically manipulate and play with made it much easier for them to remember planet names.    Great way to talk to your kiddos or anyone about the basics of the solar system. I wish the design of mercury, pluto and the moon were more distinct and closer to how there are commonly depicted in books that you will read kids when discussing. But seriously overall its really good and there is a tab to hang them from the ceiling, which will be fun as well.

   I absolutely love this product! I am currently a student teacher and even though I haven't used this with actual children, all my friends want this product for their future classrooms. I used it for one of my science lesson plan presentations which requires my classmates to act like 5th graders. They loved manipulating the planets and putting them in the right order. However, I cannot wait to teach the solar system to my future students and hang the planets from the ceiling. I love that this product was made to be able to hang them up. The Sun is absolutely HUGE! It took the longest to blow up. This product is much like a beach ball and after some time air will escape them so you may have to re-pump which is something I have already done with the sun but it wasn't horribly bad or deformed it just was kind soft.

   My grandson who loves the planets loves these . He lines them up , puts them in the pool , dries them up , and plays with them inside. Good quality . I was able to use the foot pump included on all of them , but the sun (which he loves) it's very large almost as big as him he loves rolling it. . I had to use a electric pump for that . It was taking too long, and my feet , and arms were giving out. Other than that. Highly recommend.Saturn has a thicker material so the ring stays up. .

   I hung these up for our Solar System homeschool unit and they are a huge hit. The kids love them (and the baby loves to stare at them, so that's an added bonus!) And they were very helpful in learning the names and orders of the planets. Plus it came with Pluto, and I happen to be Team Pluto, so that gets all the stars from me! The only issue we've had is getting them to stay up- they are heavy for masking tape but we don't want to make holes, so we just stick them back up when they fall. No big deal.    I bought this for my classroom, hung everything up, but the sun will not hold air. It's kind of an important part of the solar system and I'm really disappointed that I can't figure out where it is leaking from. The kit comes with patches, but it's hard to fix a patch when you don't know the where the hole is. Update: I contacted the manufacturer, information located on the box, and they quickly and happily shipped me another sun!

   My 2 year old son loves the planets and knows the order and looks of each by heart so when I noticed he was interested in planets I bought him this and he absolutely love them. He wants to take them everywhere and cry's if I don't take them with us. He is distracted for hours playing with them and putting them in order. Best gift ever.
