   My mom passed May 2019, I'd heard of jewelry that holds ashes but had never seen any before. The ones sold by the funeral home were very expensive $100+ and I found the same ones online as well as way better ones. This one caught my eye immediately. I wanted a piece of jewelry that actually looked like jewelry and this was perfect. There are some other options with stones like this but they look much more bulky and not as elegant in my opinion.

First of all, I'd like to say to the people who reviewed this before me complaining this it's too small or fits a child that's because it's supposed to fit like a choker, and had you read the description and measurements you'd know that. It's a very delicate piece, and like I said fits more like a choker than a regular chain.. nevertheless it's still super cute and if you take care of it it'll last. I would not recommend wearing it in water or anything like that since it's not real gold.

   My youngest son passed away suddenly in August. Right away I searched for something that would keep him close at all times. I searched for hours and came across this one. Sterling silver to last a lifetime, I hope, a blue heart shaped crystal, and a tiny tube for his ashes. Not too big either. I did purchase a thicker chain, though. The chain that comes with it wasn't strong enough to wear every day 24/7. I love it and am completely satisfied.
