I don't know much about red light therapy and its effectiveness but having a bit of warm light during massage felt really good. It really helped a lot for migraine and headache. Like any other massager, it did mess up my hair a bit but I was able to fix it with a quick brush through using my fingers so it wasn't a big deal.
