   I cat loves this perch. It was easy to assemble and I only had to readjust it once since installing. I'm glad the sections are so strong because my cat is 12 pounds and loves to use the hanging wire to scratch his face. Be sure to follow the instructions and attaching the sections because if they are wet in anyway they will slip off. You can't really use this on the window that has blinds, unless you want to leave them half open all the time, but it works is wonderfully with curtains.

   My 12 lb cat fits on it nicely. You can see from the picture that he just likes to sleep a little closer on the edge, but there's definitely enough room for him. He also likes to rub his cheek and gnaw on the wire, but it doesn't look like it'll break. He's never gotten on it himself; I've had to use catnip. I think the chemical smell emanating from the plastic cover is way too strong. It's a really sickening smell too so imagine how a cat feels with their superior sense of smell...

   This product is perfect if you want a spot for your cat to lay in the sunlight without taking up much space. Good price, easy to assemble, and sturdy. I did have one suction cup fall shortly after sticking it to the window, but that could have been my own fault for not sticking it on well enough. I stuck it back on, and it has not happened again. My cat LOVES this. I catch her curled up looking out the window all day long. It is her new favorite spot! Probably best purchase I have made for her so far. In fact, she is laying down in it as I write this review!

   It's simple to put together and sturdy--it holds both our 10 and 15 pound cats with no issues. It did come down once because one of the cats, having no concept of engineering and the consequences of his actions, chewed the suction cup off the window. I don't think it would ever come undone unless tampered with, but it might be good to keep it lower to the ground or keep an eye out if you have a crazy chewer like ours. Other than that, the seat and cords have absolutely held up to their abuses, and it makes them happy. We also love to see neighbors spotting and interacting with them from outside--it's a lot of fun!

   I can be pretty overprotective of my animals, so before I let Missie into her new window seat I proceeded to drop a large stack of books on it to test for sturdiness. Long story short it passed the book test and she adores having a spot to watch the birds and get a break from the dog. It's become one of her favorite spots, even as a bigger breed of cat she can stretch out a bit up there and relax. I did notice a very strong chemical smell that came off it

   My cats love this hammock! My one cat is a heavy chewer so I was a bit worried about the thin wire that holds it. He has tried to chew it, but I spray bitter apple on it and haven't had a problem! We just adopted a kitten and she loves it as well! It has come apart from the suction cups a few times...I could prob glue it but then I wouldn't be able to wash it! Hasn't happen enough times to make me complain about it!
