I fill the water reservoir every 3 days and don’t have to do anything else till lockdown. So glad I went ahead a splurged on this quality. My first purchase was the china made Moroly incubator which was horrible! All my eggs died!

   This is a game changer of an incubator. If you have fertile eggs this is a no brainer system. It does all the work for you. The controls are straight forward and easy to use. The turner can be set to different intervals. The temperature is accurate and remains constant. I did add a humidity reader because that is not given. However, this is lightweight, external water port, not noisy, has alarms that alert when things are too high or too low, and it so simple to use.
   I cannot wait to buy more brinsea products when in stock to continue to have perfect hatches! This really gives me peace of mind, and thus far given me 14 healthy chicks!

I know nothing about incubating but with the help of customer service and the user manual I was able to make it threw 24 days of incubating Quail eggs with a 95% hatch rate. I love that the incubator has a clear dome , I was able to watch my eggs as they hatched, while turning the eggs manually the temperature will drop but once I put the lid back on the temperature adjust back to the correct tempt.

I am not used to not having the electronic readout for temperature and humidity but the incubator works well. A digital thermometer/hygrometer can be placed inside if you really want to add one. I am monitoring percentage weight loss to determine how much water to add to the incubator so the hygrometer is not necessary. I hatched Sebastopol goose eggs. This is a great quality economical manual model, no frills but dependable, affordable, and even fits goose eggs!
