Bought this product for my steel roof install. The product was not quite what my carpenter foreman was expecting, but it work well. You will need to practice a little to perfect the amount of pressure and technique needed for cutting straight lines and curves; especially around the ribs in the steel sheets. You will also need to be prepared for the thousands of crescent shaped steel slivers all over the cutting area. We were surprised at how many were stuck in our shoe soles. They came out easily! I would definitely recommend the product.

I am not professional person, I don’t remember anything handy tools can easily cut metal, such as Aluminum, copper sheet or decorative panel except my hacksaw, but I really need an portable machine tools to DIY many things and cut any shape what I need, this cutter cutter is perfect meeting my need. Especially works well for sheet or panel cutting and feel it is really very safety. Excellent cutting effect, easily and safely using, extra backup part. So, the rest is making a plan and follow your plan.

This little cutter has surpassed all expectations given the bargain pricing. I used it on a commercial soffit job to cut out holes for lights and speakers. Didn't expect it to last with all the extra parts it comes with and with the amount of holes needed to cut out. Material was 20ga. Cuts couldn't have come out any cleaner.

This thing works better than expected. I was surprised how easily it munches through 16 ga sheet steel. I declined buying the stand for it, and made my own out of plywood scraps. It’s nice that there is an extra cutting punch included. That makes four cutting setups before you need spares. I probably will need them. It really works great with an old dewalt corded drill I had kicking around, but it also works ok with cordless drills at the high speed,

I used a mikita cutter, a few years ago, and liked it sp much I wanted to buy my own. Until I saw the price! This works just as well, but at a fraction of the cost. The anvil doesn't have enough clearance to cut the bends on a conex roof, but it does well on the flats. It does take some practice to cut a straight line, at least it did for me. The tin container is what sold me on this brand. It keeps everything in one handy package. Good tool, I recommend it. Plus it's fun to ask the floks at work if they want to see your double headed cutter.

I tested the device on a few different materials and was impressed at how well it worked. I had to turn my cordless drill in the highest setting for the best cutting conditions. I am an rc airplanes kit and scratch builder. I mainly bought this to help cut out plastic cowls and to weight reduce ply and balsa parts but cutting out crazy geometry on the center of the parts. So far I like it and think it cuts great. I had the best results by clamping the handle of the cutter in my table vise and clamping the trigger of the drill so I could use both hands to guide the piece I was cutting. Overall I like it and can't wait to use it on my projects!

The metal cutter goes through 2mm aluminum like butter. The problem is it is difficult to see exactly where it is cutting the edge, and it is difficult to control with any precision. With a hand operated cutter, a square hole can easily be cut by removing the cutter once a corner is reached, rotating it 90 degrees, re-inserting it and continuing. The Rexbeti, and other drill-powered cutters, cannot be inserted with a 90 degree rotation, due to the teardrop shape of the cutting head. (The cylindrical cutting bit has a triangular column behind it.) So then one has to make a number of cuts from various angles, the end result being a rectangular hole with curvy sides and rounded corners. The job has to be finished with a hand operated cutter and files. Still, the Rexbeti saves a huge amount of time, labor, and wrist pain, compared to using a hand operated cutter for the entire job. The case does not allow the tool to be stored with handle attached. To save myself some time, I used a box-cutter knife to modify the foam in the case, so the tool can be stored with handle attached.

Needed to replace bake element on my electric range, manufacturer provided no access to bake element . An outline for 'access' to element was 'engraved' into rear maintenance panel, required cutting. Tried hand held sheet metal cutter and found effort too exerting; Produced very rough, uneven edges. Looked up a solution on Amazon and came across the 'cutter' product. cutter cut through the sheet metal with ease, especially along straight lines. Only difficulty came where cut line met with edge of oven, could not reach last half-inch of cut line due to width of cutting head. Completed above using the pilot hole drill attachment. I recommend a high-power drill for use with this product, used my plug-in hammer drill.
