This is the first fountain pen I have owned and actually tried to use. I wanted one that looked nice but didn’t break my budget. For the money you spend on this guy you get more out of it than I thought I would. I writes wonderfully I haven’t had it explode and it’s easy to install a new ink cartridge. The only thing about it is the converter it comes with is awe full, or at least mine was. It let air in the back end and would hold ink properly but I had some disposable cartridges lying around and once I put one of those in it worked like a dream. I’ve been told it does work with other converters however I have not purchased others and am instead buying the cartridges from Jinhao themselves for the pen.
