It will likely pay for itself in a year or two and it's really easy to use and gets coals to a good temp in just a few minutes. I don't even use my charcoal chimney starter anymore since this makes it so easy to get things ripping hot right in the grill. I'd recommend getting an extension cord so you can use this a safe distance away from an outlet.

This thing is awesome! It lights the charcoal really easily. I was skeptical at first but this is way easier and faster than waiting for a paraffin cube to light it since I will not use lighter fluid. The only thing I wish it would do is have a way for button modes to just stay down so I didn't have to continue to hold them down. Guessing that is more of a safety feature though.
