The kitten followed her lead and I placed the 2carriers (this soft one and a hard one) facing each other. The silence was bliss & I'm so happy the kitten no longer seems to feel she's being led to the slaughter or something.

   The little side pocket is nice as well, they really utilize all aspects of this carrier to make it a great one. The size is great too- it can fit under an airplane seat (my friend's father works for Delta so she knows the dimensions and told me this would easily fit), but its also tall enough to wear my cat isn't squished in. He has enough height that he can stand up somewhat and roam a little, circle a bit to get comfy, and plenty of sleeping space. Another thing about the netting- because it's tight knit and thicker, it actually darkens the carrier a bit, which I love. I know many pets are calmer when the light is dimmer and it helps them go to sleep, and I think it'll help shelter him from the hustle and bustle going on around him. All the zippers seem to be made well too, as are the clips for the strap.

   They came with some thoughtful touches, such as a line and clasp for your pet's collar and a separate fleece-lined pad in addition to the stiffer floor pad. A top and side opening allow for multiple entries / exits. Our cats didn't mind being put into the carriers, though one did seem to protest the rides themselves some.

Pairs well with the zipper top that allows your pet to poke its head out and not feel claustrophobic and receive treats. Shoulder strap is great for hands free carrying.    The long strap is long enough to wrap around the headrest in the backseat of my car so it feels more secure while we're driving. She recently was sick and threw up/pooped inside the carrier while we were going to the vet, and I was able to unzip the furry bottom part inside and throw it in the wash and it came out perfectly clean to put right back in the carrier.
