We purchased these and I cannot believe how well they worked the first time we turn them on. When I am outside with the dogs I take one of them out with them. Barking has ceased completely. I have four dogs. It really is amazing! I will add that I believe the television speakers activate it so be careful not to put it near any loud music or television, or simply switch it off when using these devices.
