He kept quickly turning from side to side trying to catch it, even got smart a couple times and went up against a foot rest so he could momentarily catch it. Then our youngest cat came in, saw it, and started trying to catch it too! It was hilarious watching one cat trying to avoid the other, while the other is furiously trying to get to the feathers. Honestly I'm not sure who got more entertainment out of it, the cats or us watching the cats.
