   The leather feels high quality though stiff. Especially compared to my old bag. However, I'm hopeful that it will loosen up with use. The shoulder strap was a little confusing. Might have been me not understanding it. But I think I finally figured it out. Lots of storage pockets inside but not sure how much will actually fit in some of these zippered pockets.

   This is a really nice case. I was surprised by the quality, craftsmanship, and care in wrapping all the hardware so it impress into the leather. Needs care out of the packaging, so be prepared to use conditioner or waterproofing. Super nice bag and old school quality. Not a cheap knock-off and fits a 17 inch laptop with room for files and accessories.

   Wasn't sure what I would get when I ordered this bag. I've had my previous one for over a decade and have gotten quite used to it. Lots of zippers and comfortable to carry and use. I chose this bag because I liked the look of it. It was just delivered and it's clear to me that this company cares about its product if only by the careful way it was packaged. Every metal fastener was individually covered to protect it. Although it took a whole to unwrap it all I appreciated the thought behind doing that.

   The leather does darken with use so it gives a antique feel. The straps aren't exactly full fantasy/steampunk but it works well enough and it has a large middle pocket besides the smaller side and and inside pockets. Lots of carrying space. I even use it for work to carry my laptop in. It's 17” screen and it fits just fine inside with room for 2-3 notebooks and my graphic tablet. Great product!

   This is my second satchel. My first one broke at the top handle. That was disappointing. But I had it for several years and really liked the first one. One big improvement on the new satchel is the front center strap can now be opened with a push-button clip instead of having to unbuckle. I really like this feature. It makes opening and closing the satchel flap much easier.
