   Bought this after I was diagnosed with a grade 2 sprain. The laces allow me to really cinch down and compress the area. Once that is complete, the Velcro straps further add stability. It fits inside my shoe, but is quite snug when I do so. I'm very pleased with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone with a similar injury.

It's extremely adjustable with the lacing and Velcro in different areas, I can evert or invert the ankle with the Velcro straps and choose to tighten the foot or the ankle more with lacing. On the inner side of the foot there was some glue or issue with the stitching that dug into my foot and caused a sore (even when leaving the laces looser), so I cut the hard bit off and haven't had trouble since!

The only downfall is that it might take a few minutes to figure out how to put it on, however that might just be a me problem. Either way, highly recommend if you're looking for maximum stability.

   I'm recovering from an ankle fracture and am at the point where I'm ditching my full boot and starting to work on range of motion and recovery. My ankle is still sprained but the bone is healed and while I can walk without the boot, any sort of slight shift can cause a decent amount of pain from the damaged soft tissue. To help get me walking without pain I decided to get an ankle brace and since the #1 recommended one appears to have randomly been discontinued I decided to try this one.
