   I had an unusual complication of my recent hip replacement surgery (anterior), called a seroma. My surgeon and I decided that I needed some kind of compression garment to close up the pocket, after he drained it. I looked at a number of hip compression garments but they all looked like they'd miss the spot that needed the compression. I ordered this and it is perfect, and it seems to be working.    This brace is exactly what I needed. It's a little more complex than the average hip brace, which is usually just strap and go, but it's much more versatile. I needed something to help me remember to keep my hip bent forward a tiny bit and not to straighten my leg too far. This does the trick. I still have full range of motion if I'm not paying enough attention so it's not exactly what I want but its the best I've found so far. Also, I have to take it off to use the bathroom. So would I with the other style hip brace but this one's a little more bother with that because it's a bit more complex, as already mentioned. Over all, I like this brace much better than any other rice tried so far.

   It took me a few tries to get it on right, but it does stay in place, and it does support my hip exactly where i needed it to. I had 2 bad hips, one was replaced, but the other started to buckle, causing horrible pain and making it difficult to walk and work until I can get the second one done. I work in a warehouse and walk on concrete, and climb on and off forklifts and ladders all day, every day. Having the brace on snug and slowing my walking pace has kept the hip from buckling and keeping me moving more comfortably. I would recommend this brace, for sure.

   I am waiting for my 2nd hip replacement and still working. When I wear this hip Braceability compression wrap, I have no pain throughout the day. It's great and I don't have to walk with crutches for the pain prior to my hip replacement. So glad I bought this. It only takes me, 1 person, to apply the wrap once you get the hang of it.
