My hair is natural and I thought this would get tangled up in my hair, but it didn't, when applying no pressure to light pressure. However if you apply too much pressure and allow it to stay in one place, for about 20 seconds your hair (if like mine 4c) will wrap around the little fingers. If your force this into your hair, it will lead breakage. If you use normally, you will see some hair falling and that might because your hairs were going to fall anyways. I am using this product to simulate blood flow into my head. I am liking it, so I would suggest it.
