   Mine is sitting on very thick carpet, so I removed the bottom slat and put it flat on the carpet for the long wine holder row to sit upon and this made it much more sturdy! But it fit perfectly in the spot I wanted and my wine collection varies from white skinny bottles to wide Pinot noir bottles. They all fit, the wider bottles did not fit on an end but the next slot over they worked perfect, then just alternated them so they worked great.

Attractive enough to be in my kitchen if I only had the room. It is sturdy, the bottles lay in it nicely and theres enough room to see the labels on the lower tiers..

   I bought two of these and one of the 36 bottle ones for the closet under my stairs. The finish on these is very nice. There was one end piece where the slots were not wide enough for the cross pieces but a file fixed that. They are a little wobbly when you first assemble them but as wine is added, they do become pretty sturdy. (As others have said, load from the bottom up.) I did use straps to secure them to the wall just for my peace of mind.

   This is a high quality bamboo wine rack at an attractive price. I purchased it as I needed additional capacity. Had previously purchased the modular peg style racks which I really liked. The DECIMAL rack is significantly less expensive but is high quality and easy to assemble. As another buyer noted the rack has some excess play between the front/rear rails and the end pieces. Putting some very small pieces of duct tape in the points tightened the tolerances up enough so you can move the rack without it coming apart. It did seem very stable once it was filled with bottles.
