   This brilliant device is highly effective Theft deterrent. Once the lock is activated and it detects vibration the first time it lets out a loud chirp to serve as warning. However, the second time it will unleash an ear piercing siren that is so loud my neighbors poked their head out the window to see what happened. My ears were aching and ringing after I tested it out for merely 5 seconds. I cannot imagine anyone who would want to stick around long enough to steal a bike. One tip I have is to buy at least 3 AAA batteries for they are not included.

   This is an excellent alarm mechanism. I would not depend on it for my only lock but it is a good deterrent. My ebike has a cafe lock and when I’m making a quick stop for coffee, etc., I use the two. It is loud enough to startle people who bump into my bike.

   I purchased one of these lock a few months ago to secure a portable generator. So far the lock has performed flawlessly. In fact I was so pleased with this lock, I purchased another to secure my E-Bike. The great thing is I can control both locks with the same App on my phone. I did have a minor issue with new lock that was my own fault. I contacted customer service and got an immediate response. Very impressed with the responsiveness of this seller. Highly recommended!

   We have used this NuLock Smart Lock with Alarm for nearly two years and are very happy with its performance. Works as advertised. Highly recommended, even as an added layer of security in combination with a large, chain lock... as we use it. The vibration mode alone is worth the money. When activated, it is a great deterrent and gives us the peace of mind that no one is tampering with our bikes at night while locked up on the back of our RV! Just remember to deactivate it before driving away :) We love it! This lock is a must have!

   Recieved my first one, everything worked and then I couldn't sync it to my phone anymore. I contacted the company and they sent me a new one right away. The second one is working correctly. It may have just been an issue on my end as deleting the app and adding it back on seems to reconnect it. Their customer service is good and I like that they stand by their product. Reviews on many of the disc locks I looked at said they were too sensitive and would go off in heavy wind or whatever. The Nulock isn't as sensitive and I think it will be a good deterrent against theft on my motorcycle. As with most locks it won't keep someone from taking it if they want it, but it should scare someone off and make them move on to something easier. It would be better if I could receive notifications on my phone from long distances, but I will still give it 5 stars
