   It has nice easy to use features, outputs more on the highest setting when compared, further up into the air, and the humidity setting is great, so it can regulate itself. Admittedly we could have got by with the cheaper model, but this one is worth it with convenient features. If money's a concern, their cheaper options will do the job fine. Understand if you don't use distilled water, you will have to clean it thoroughly and consistently as the minerals will build up but if you use the recommended water it cleans up fairly easily.

   Had for a couple of years. Still going strong. Need to keep humidity level at a certain percentage in cold months to keep Swedish finish floors from over contracting. This unit can be set to recommended level and puts out humidity every few minutes depending on setting. Tracks humidity well and keeps itself on track. Great features. Humidity mist is very fine and goes up rather than out. One issue to be aware of: If you set the level too high i.e. leaving at default 90%, you will end up with a wet spot as the mist level will be considerable. Adjust when you get this off of 90% default depending on what you are buying it for.

   Really impressed with this humidifier. The top loading transparent water tank makes it easy to see when it needs a refill. Just lift off the top lid, raise the handle and its easy to carry to the sink and fill. It also comes apart easily without requiring any tools to clean and replace the pads (which, by the way, are MUCH cheaper in the generic version). The front touch controls are easy to set. I recommend using both the ultrasonic and heating at the same time on a medium setting. No need to use distilled water, works fine with tap water.
