   The headphones were tricky to line up well with my ears constantly and the headband can move around a bit, but this gets better with practice. At higher volumes this is fine, but at low volumes, especially with binaural audio like I wanted to listen to at night, it is an issue. The speakers themselves are mediocre, but that should be expected at this price range. The fleece band doesn't grip very tight for me and there is no built-in way to adjust tighter or looser.

   I love, love, love this!!! The sounds of my boyfriend's dog licking herself incessantly would wake me up at night and I couldn't get back to sleep untillllll I found this! I plug this into my phone and put on a free bedtime fan app that I can customize the speed and it totally drowns out the sound! It's helpful as a sleep mask too for when I want to block out light, but I can otherwise wear it more like a headband. The speakers are flat and haven't been a problem. And I had been reluctant to get it because of the cord, but it hasn't been a problem either. It's long enough to reach the night stand and I just pull it up and out of the way like I do with my hair so everything isn't getting tangled around me. I also use it at home when my roommate or neighbors are making noise and I wanna shut out everything and get some rest. I bet this would be awesome for sleeping on a plane too. Plus, it packs down really small into the carrying case. Super convenient for travel. It's one of the best purchases I've ever made. So happy I found this!!

   I've never used anything quite like this before. It took a little time and toying with it to learn how to use it well and to solve the "low volume problem". After messing with over the ear and ear buds to listen to sleep music, I find this really good. No more earaches and strange marks in the morning. The volume can be lower than conventional headphones, but when sleeping it doesn't make much difference unless you are blaring music. One key is to ensure you have the speaker turned over with the correct side to your ear. Then you need to make sure the speaker is centered on your ear canal. Then turn it up so you can listen. They move around like quarters in a sock, so you will probably have to adjust them most nights. These are not for loud listening. They are comfortable and soft. Another reviewer mentioned they pull them over their eyes like a sleep mask, and I found this worked well for me too.

   I’m so glad I tried these. I figured for the price it was low risk and my expectations were low but I’ve been really impressed! I’ve had them for several months and the cord issue I had with BedPhones isn’t happening so I expect they’ll last longer. Sound quality is good, they’re very comfortable and I’ve actually been pulling the headband over my eyes and sort of using it as an eye mask - just a regular ol MacGyver over here.

   I watch TV on my iPad or listen to Podcasts to fall asleep. My husband just puts his head on the pillow and poof! He’s asleep. It takes me awhile to slumber and I don’t want to wake him up so I’ve always worn headphones to bed. In the last few years the options have gotten much better but I hadn’t branched out from BedPhones. The trouble with the bedphones is that they get super tangled and it eventually ruins the cord and they stop working. I was replacing them 1-2x a year which was rough because they’re expensive!

   While preparing for our upcoming trip we felt that it would be good to work on getting our almost three year old more comfortable with wearing his volume limited headphones; however, once they were on we realized they were definitely too small for his head, fully extended. We noticed some of the CozyPhones child headphones and thought it'd be a great idea for him to have the headband style. While looking at the specifications for them we decided it would be in our better interest to ensure that the measurements would fit his head, as 3T are a little small for him, already, and wanted something that wouldn't be outgrown before he's even had a chance to really use them. Sure enough, the child size headphones were already too small, so I started looking for adult headphones in the CozyPhones brand, while also comparing other similar brands as well.

   I had to have these and I had to make them work despite some reviews. I also thought they were horizontal across-the-forehead headband earphones. Yes, they fell down, so I stuffed the sheet up there and tried to make them work. They are very comfortable for side sleeping. Then I wanted to sleep on my back and that's how I discovered how to really wear them. I had to pull the seam down under my skull, lined up the speakers with my ears, and the "front" of the headband was actually on top of my head. Maybe not completely vertical, but definitely not horizontal. Now they are comfortable, sound great, block noise, and help me sleep. I still use them even though I'm home in my quiet place. Really happy I bought them and persevered with them.
