The Support bracket gave the AC unit three points to rest on, rather than two. The installation instructions seemed a little complex, but the manufacturer has extra pieces to adapt to different window frames. The materials are very sturdy and nice, for example good paint on steel, it should last a long time. I am happy with this product.
