I think these would easily work on any hair type or length.. but if you have very thick hair or long hair I would recommend you purchase more than one box. If you're used to hair curlers you shouldn't have any issues sleeping with these.

Once I got the hang of it, it became easier. I did like that I didn't have to worry about my hair falling out of these since I was able to secure these rods within each other. My hair felt stable and I was able to leave these one for however long I needed.
