It's well made - sturdy - the balls never pop out and he seems to like knocking it over and playing with it on its side.    Our cat was very curious about this and I uploaded the video of the first time you saw the toy. He's initially attracted to the feathers. And then I showed him the balls. We did this on the stairs where he was sitting. After I finish shooting the video. We took it upstairs and put it on the level floor. Then he went crazy over the toy. He was sprinting back and forth and he actually managed to get one of the balls to slouched. One of the balls lights up when it's moving, which I didn't know this toy did. But it's provided him a lot of fun and entertainment.

   This is the best model I've found of this particular type of cat toy. The reason being is the balls and track they are on produce a minimal amount of friction which allows for them to roll very easily. The result is the cat barely tapping the ball for it to rapidly rotate around the unit. The cat is intrigued by the speed and lasting momentum of the balls. Other units seem much slower with much more drag on the movement of the balls-I tossed the last one I owned because the cat was not interested. The way this one was designed makes a huge difference.
