Let it be known, I have always hated rollers. But this one has completely changed my mind. It's amazing!!! Knocks out major painting projects with ease. (Not recommended for small jobs.) Turn it on for a few secs at a time to prime/refill your roller. Be sure you get the actual Wagner roller replacements or your coverage will suffer. The generic don't hold up well and don't disperse the paint as well either. Be sure you clean it well before storing. Be forewarned, it takes time and at least a full bucket of water.

Next I thinned the all purpose mud a bit, then used a 3/4" knap roller which I dipped right into the 5-gal bucket, then rolled it on the ceiling, a few feet wide at a time. I then rolled the pattern into it, one wall-to-wall strip at a time. I did the ceiling a few feet at a time. If I mudded the whole thing, it would have started to set before I got to the other end. That might have actually helped, but it wouldn't have matched the parts at the beginning.
